Liquid convert a lot of full-buy rounds after mithR chimes in

Liquid, Complexity among teams who win more gun rounds after tactical timeouts

Whatever their coaches are saying during these timeouts is working.

One way to measure the effectiveness of coaches in matches is by looking at how many rounds their team convert after a tactical timeout. This has become a popular topic over this month after CS Stats BR compiled the percentage of rounds won after a timeout in tier-one tournaments.

After the success of that first thread, CS Stats BR delved deeper into timeout statistics once more and shared some interesting findings on their X page. According to their research, Liquid and Complexity are some of the teams who win the most gun rounds after the coach steps in.

In fact, Liquid are only behind Eternal Fire and Spirit in that regard. Complexity appears behind those teams and is in the same range as HEROIC, Falcons, and FaZe.

One thing that caught the attention of CS Stats BR is how much impact these timeouts have on Complexity gun rounds as they also have a low percentage of rounds won, in comparison to the other teams. These stats took into consideration only teams that played a minimum of 100 rounds.

CS Stats BR specifically focused on gun rounds won after a timeout because most coaches make a tactical pause for full-buy rounds (68.7%), in contrast to semi-eco (7.4%) and half-buy (22.6%)

On top of these statistics, CS Stats BR also shared that NAVI and GamerLegion skippers Andrij "B1ad3" Ghorodensjkyj and Ashley "ashhh" Battye, who are two of the most praised coaches at the moment, are among those who request more timeouts.

Even though all this data gathered by CS Stats BR provides some insight on the impact of coaches, note that these statistics could change over the year, once more tournaments are played.

So, as they pointed out, these findings don't indicate whether a coach is good or bad because coaching goes far beyond the tactical pauses.
