AJaxz returns to activity on Lycus Empire

After a year in free agency, AJaxz has found a new home.

On January 15th, Lycus Empire announced the addition of Austin "AJaxz" Janocha, seeing the former Reason player link up his first team in nearly a year. AJaxz joins Lycus Empire as a replacement for Russian AWPer Rashid "Bob" Kushtov, who stepped down from the team on December 19th to search for a new team where he could primary AWP.

AJaxz's addition to Lycus Empire marks the end of a long team search for the 25-year-old rifler, having been out in free agency since Reason released their ESL Challenger League Season 46 roster at the end of 2023. Since then, AJaxz has largely been inactive out of competing in ESEA Advanced Season 49 on Kinship alongside Walker "walker" Harris. However, that roster seemingly never progressed outside of being a mix team despite efforts to officialize the team under the Kinship brand

With this new squad, AJaxz and co. will aim to fight for a spot in ESL Challenger League Season 50 among a number of hopeful squads.

Lycus Empire are now:

  • United States Steven "drayza" Wisemore

  • Canada Nickolas "g0ne" Orescanin

  • Canada "Stormie"

  • Shawn "JoSoo" Noah Kim

  • United States Austin "AJaxz" Janocha

  • United States Adam "Kurrent" Starr (Analyst)

Lycus Empire currently have a 1-0 record in ESEA Advanced Season 52 and will be facing effsports tonight.
