FlyQuest RED release French AWPer

On January 11th, FlyQuest RED announced the departure of Coline "Kaoday" Le Floc'h, seeing the French AWPer the second member of the NA ESL Impact squad to leave the team in recent weeks. Her departure follows FlyQuest RED's decision to part ways with Luca "Munstur" Ioanițiu on January 7th.

On its face, the decision to part ways with Kaoday is odd as the 27-year-old AWPer boasts a 1.19 rating in 2024 while AWPing talent is relatively hard to come by in the Impact scene while Kaoday has expressed a desire to continue competing.

While she did not return a request for comment ahead of publication, her own announcement states she was "released from her contract," suggesting an early termination.

With her announcement following the departure of fellow European Munstur, reportedly for financial reasons, FlyQuest RED may be seeking to dispatch with expensive European talent, especially as the Impact scene is in a difficult financial state across the board in 2025?
