Warden is back in the yellow and black

Warden returns to BOSS

While Warden's turn is likely short-term, it comes at an integral time for the team.

Matt "Warden" Dickens has revealed to Dust2.us that he has rejoined BOSS for the foreseeable future, returning to the lineup he stepped down from at the start of the month. His return follows BOSS bolstering their ranks with the addition of Wyatt "snav" Phillippi and Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield, who replaced Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore and Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas, ahead of their moves to Nouns and reportedly TSM, respectively.

Warden told Dust2.us that he made the decision to return to BOSS on an ad-hoc basis while looking for a new job in esports and in nursing, with Warden holding a degree in the latter field.

With this, Warden has informed the team that his ability to continue the squad is contingent on maintaining an open schedule, with this liable to change at any time. Regardless, the team will likely appreciate Warden's return to the lineup, especially as the team's new IGL, Wyatt "snav" Phillippi, grapples with leading a new quintet for the first time in his career.

BOSS are now:

  • Canada Adam "freshie" Paterson

  • United States Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan

  • United States Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman

  • United States Wyatt "snav" Phillippi

  • United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield

  • United States Matt "Warden" Dickens (Coach)

ESL Challenger League Season 49 is set to start on January 21st.
