BOSS bolster squad with new IGL and rifler
BOSS finalized their search for a new IGL and rifler with the additions of former timbermen shot-caller Wyatt "snav" Phillippi and former FLUFFY AIMERS player Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield, the orgless team announced on January 2nd.
snav and Wolffe will effectively replace Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore and Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas, respectively, as they were poached by two separate teams in the final hours of 2024.
For snav, the move sees the IGL transition aware from the timbermen tag and core that he has spent the majority of his career playing alongside. While snav and co. had previously been signed by a number of organizations including Elevate and Iron Blood, the team's poor reputation has always seen snav need to build teams around his timbermen comrades. As such, this move marks a major change for the 23 year old where he may be able to turn a new leaf.
Wolffe, on the other hand, spent the second semester of 2024 plying his trade for Limitless and FLUFFY AIMERS, being displaced on the latter by the additions of Anthony "vanity" Malaspina and Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado before the team disbanded on New Year's Eve.
These additions allow the remainder of the BOSS players to retain their Valve Ranking points from 2024. Wolffe and snav will presumably debut for BOSS at the ESL Challenger League Season 49, which kicks off on January 21st.
All that is left for BOSS until then is to find a new coach following the departure of Matthew "Warden" Dickens at the end of 2024. For now, their roster consists of:
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan
-
Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman
-
Wyatt "snav" Phillippi
-
Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
