RONIN set to add Jonji and wrath; tex out
The newly founded RONIN CS:GO roster has made some last minute additions before Season 27 of MDL begins January 21st. While not officially signed yet, Jonathan "Jonji" Carey of Rise Nation and Collin "wrath" McSweegan will join the starting line-up for the teams upcoming matches. In order to accomodate these pick-ups, Ian "Tex" Botsch is out of the squad and now seeks a new team for the upcoming season.
After being replaced in Rise after the devastating losses at ESEA MDL Global Challenge, Jonji will look to make the most of his situation, though he is still currently under contract with his former team. Young buck wrath was removed from Rogue after strife had built up over time between him and his former teammates.
After these adjustments, the RONIN roster shapes up as follows:
- David "Xp3" Garrido
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Jeff "REZU" Ngo
- Jonathan "Jonji" Carey
- Collin "wrath" McSweegan
- Kyle "flowsicK" Mendez (Coach)
This marks the second roster move this week for the squad, after losing Tyler "tweiss" Weiss to Mask Off earlier.
