Take Flyte: "This is a tough lesson learned for us"

Take Flyte's ownership have admitted they were too trusting of Perseverance and Keke's promises

Following breaking news last night and further revelations about Perseverance League, which suggests that the event set up by Alexanne "Keke" Shoter (potential alias for Brad Bergen) was a scam meant to deceive NA orgs into sending him money, Take Flyte have released a statement attempting to address the situation.

It is important to note that beyond Take Flyte being a team competing in the Perseverance League entanglements between the two parties went far deeper, with Shoter being appointed the CFO and co-owner of Take Flyte, while Take Flyte also provided support for the Perseverance League.

This is something Take Flyte's owners aim to address by admitting they made a mistake in trusting Shoter while failing to do serious background checks into the Canadian who only recently emerged in the NA scene. With this, Take Flyte also went to lengths to stress that while they were on paper heavily entangled with the Perseverance League, their support did not extend to the contractual or funding side of the league.

They also note that Take Flyte is also owed money by Shoter and have been negatively affected by his lies and deception. Overall, Take Flyte's statement ends with the organization promising to do better in vetting partners and that they will work to rebuild the community's trust.
