Perfect World reveal RMR rosters: See who Americas teams registered for Shanghai

This weekend Perfect World revealed teams' official rosters for the Perfect World Shanghai Major and the RMRs, with teams being able to register substitutes for their lineups following the conclusion of the online RMR Closed Qualifiers. For the Americas RMR only a handful of teams registered substitutes for the event, with the majority instead preferring to utilize their coach should one of their players fall ill or be unable to attend the RMR.

Overall, only four teams out of the sixteen set to attend the RMR added an additional substitute player to their roster. Of these, NA's choices are the most interesting as Complexity have elected to add Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney to their lineup while Wildcard listed Polish rifler Kamil "Sobol" Sobolewski to their ranks. CLASIA was likely added as the 21-year-old rifler is currently a free agent and should have no serious entanglements should one of Complexity's players be unable to attend the RMR or fall ill during it.

As for Sobol, he was likely chosen due to his relationship with Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak, with the duo previously working together on ENTERPRISE for a number of months. Additionally, Polish citizens do not require a visa to travel to China, meaning Sobol could easily make it to China should one of Wildcard's players run into issues.

Argentine organization BESTIA listed benched player Ignacio "meyern" Meyer as their sub for the event, while MIBR listed recent addition Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves as their substitute. MIBR's decision to add Lucaozy as a substitute comes down to the fact that their roster remains locked with Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, meaning they will need to sub Lucaozy in at the start of the event for brnz4n.

While this will ultimately allow MIBR to use their full roster for the event it comes with a massive downside for Lucaozy should MIBR qualify to the Major, as subs will not receive stickers even if they play the whole RMR and Major, Perfect World confirmed to HLTV.

This is likely to become a bit of a sticky issue, especially in Europe, where the likes of Casper "cadiaN" Møller, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev, and Tim "nawwk" Jonasson, among others will miss out on stickers should their teams make the Major.
