Krimbo had nice things to say about his former teammate

Krimbo on s1n: "I've been loving how he has developed"

Krimbo played with s1n for a number of months on BIG and BIG Academy.

Elias "s1n" Stein has become a revelation for M80, despite the squad being eliminated here at ESL Challenger Atlanta. He has helped the squad reach new heights as they try to establish themselves as the third best team in North America. One of s1n's former teammates Karim "Krimbo" Moussa, spoke with Dust2.us after their victory over M80 to speak a bit about his former teammate, his growth, and BIG's plans to establish Dust2 as a solid part of their map pool again.

The full interview is in the video below while snippets of the conversation are here.

How does the team feel against that win against M80 to qualify for playoffs?

It feels good. You know, if you win, it feels good, if you lose, you don’t feel good. We actually prepared for Ancient, but they banned Ancient in the end. They're also a great Ancient team. Everyone knows the famous G2 game from the past. You know, they've always shine, been shining on Ancient. But yeah, I mean, Dust2 is the map we always take. We're BIG. We're not the Dust2 team that we want to be, and we have been in the past. So yeah, feels good, especially against, you know, my friend and former teammate s1n.

Speaking of s1n, how did it feel to play and take down someone that played so much with on BIG Academy?

I mean, when you think about it, like, neutrally, it doesn't feel that good, of course, because he's my friend.

I've been loving how he has developed. I think things didn't really work out for BIG and us. I wish it would have been different, but I think he needed it. Not a wake-up call, but that he can prove everyone wrong that he's got it, you know? He's a good captain, a good leader. Of course, he's still young, and he can show the world what he can do, right? In the end, I mostly care about us, of course, and it doesn't matter who we face. If we win, then doesn't matter who we face.

You alluded that this map went to Dust2, is that what BIG is looking to do? What changes are you looking to make to your map pool?

I mean, for those two, we just played the map more in general, as you said. We didn't play it so often in officials, and we just gotta get a better group going on that map. I believe we have always been really good on our CT side, but we're a bit lacking on T-side - we definitely showed today that we worked on it and our Dust2 works.

BIG have already made it to the playoffs and are scheduled to play against the winner of SAW versus BetBoom tomorrow.
