M80's first loss of the season, NRG clear at the top | ECL S48 Roundup Days 22-23
It has been a wild two days of action. M80 has made its domestic comeback, while NRG is racing up the score. Limitless is still trying to stay above automatic relegation, while BOSS continues its strong run. Party Astronauts are claiming for a Top 4 finish and need to continue their strong playstyle if they want to be in the conversation by the end of the season.
NRG 1-1 M80
It was a battle of NA titans, with M80 and NRG duking it out last night. The series ended up being split, but it was a strong contest between the two, as NRG needed to show they can still compete with the top. NRG were able to secure Ancient to start off the night, holding M80 to only nine rounds in total. M80 ended up getting their revenge later, taking Anubis 13-7.

It could not have been a funnier score line if you tired. BOSS and Limitless finished their matches in absolute sprints as they nearly swept one another on Mirage and Ancient. Limitless struck first with an absolutely dominant first-half T-side to secure a 13-1 victory while BOSS responded with their own 13-2 win on Ancient.

Nouns 2-0 LAG
This is just a heartbreaking loss for LAG. They lost both maps against Nouns despite both maps going to at least one overtime. It could not have been closer, and it was a much-needed win for the struggling side, which currently sits just outside of playoff contention.
It took two overtimes for Nouns to overcome LAG, with the match going back and forth repeatedly. No side ever really got their feet under them, and with the squads equally matched, it just had to go the distance. Nouns eventually pulled away with a 19-17 victory on Mirage.
LAG looked certain to take Map 2 after going up 9-3 with a successful first-half CT-side. Nouns struggled to bring it back, with things only getting worse and wearing once LAG reached 12 rounds. However, the DAO were somehow able to tie it up at twelve after four straight defuses and then secured the overtime victory on their T-side at 16-14.
