timbermen pick up an easy win | ECL S48 Roundup Day 17
Back on September 13th, a single series was played between timbermen and Revenge Nation, with the former squad smashing their European opponents to claim an easy win in the sole series played ruing Week Eight of ESL Challenger League Season 48.
While the win has little significance for timbermen as they are already safely in playoffs territory, it is extremely important for Revenge Nation, Mythic, Limitless, and Take Flyte as the four squads are in a four-way race to avoid demotion of having to play Relegation. As such, all four teams are looking to find any wins they can grab while also being keenly aware of losses their opponents suffer in the back half of the season.
timbermen 2-0 Revenge Nation 
The two maps in the series were something of a non-event for timbermen, as the recently orgless squad completely ran over the new Revenge Nation roster, winning Mirage 13-2 and Ancient 13-2. On the first map Shane "shane" Dressler posted a season-high 2.50 rating while Derek "dare" Brown did the same on Ancient with a 2.41 rating.
