Legacy finally debuts | ECL S48 Roundup Day 12
Despite most of the teams having played twelve or more maps already, Legacy have only now hit the ECL S48 servers and they started their campaign with the task of facing Wildcard, one of the favorites to win it all. The other Bo1x2 was split between the other Brazilian squad, E-Xolos LAZER, and BOSS, whose new addition has played his first official with the team.
Wildcard 2-0 Legacy
Wildcard currently top the ECL S48 NA standings for a reason and they showed it against Legacy despite facing some obstacles during the two maps. Although both maps ended with small margins, the first one, Ancient featured an enormous comeback from the international Wildcard roster, as they climbed back from a 9-3 deficit on the CT-side to a 13-11 map win. Nuke was very tight until the very end of overtime, with the halftime score showing a 6-6 tie and the end of regulation marking a 12-12 score. In the end, Wildcard controlled overtime and claimed a 16-13 win.
BOSS 1-1 E-Xolos LAZER
BOSS and E-Xolos LAZER are very close in the standings, foreshadowing a balanced series between the two. The teams didn't disappoint, as BOSS took Ancient 13-10 with the squad's newest addition Gavin "Fruitcupx" Norman topping the fragging list. Going into Nuke, the game was tied at the half, but E-Xolos LAZER edged BOSS out on the CT-side, claiming a 13-10 win to tie the series, justifying the distance, or lack thereof, between both teams in the standings.
