Mauisnake finally invited to work another event
Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg has finally been invited to work his second event of 2024 as BLAST announced his inclusion for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2024.
The American analyst has famously been excluded from events across the world this year with his only event so far being IEM Katowice 2024. Mauisnake himself commented on his departure from Twitch screens this year.
"I also am aware of why I haven't been hired by the usuals at this point and will say the community has no idea, despite numerous speculations", he said in a post on X. "Not worth revealing but have been enjoying streaming immensely."
The American has been allowed to Co-Stream several BLAST and ESL events this year while continuing to work on his content creation. However, the Hawaiian will finally be back in action later this month at the Fall Showdown which features some of the top teams that couldn't directly qualify for the Finals.
Complexity and M80 will be in attendance, with the latter replacing NRG who had to make the difficult scheduling decision to prioritize the online North American Closed Qualifier for the 2024 Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR.
Other talent included in the broad will be hosts Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, James "BanKs" Banks, casting duo Conner "Scrawny" Girvan and Mohan "launders" Govindasamy, and British commenters Jack "Jacky" Peters and Vince "Vince" Hill.
