BOSS cut micro
This afternoon Jack "micro" Ryan announced his departure from BOSS, seeing the IGL removed from the lineup after a little over a month with the orgless roster. micro had taken over IGL duties on BOSS from Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore when he joined the roster, which served as a reunion between micro and his former DETONATE teammates from early 2023.
micro's tenure with BOSS only lasted 16 maps, during which the BOSS roster admittedly struggled to find their footing with a new core, ending this period with a 37.5% map win rate, albeit against some of NA's top teams. micro also notably struggled on an individual level during this period, ending his time with the team with a 0.91 rating.
micro told Dust2.us that he was cut from BOSS due to disagreements over his leadership and the team's direction. His former teammates have yet to comment on his removal nor did they respond to Dust2.us' request for comment.
With micro out the lineup, BOSS are now:
-
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore
-
Adam "freshie" Paterson
-
Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas
-
Keller "SLIGHT" Nilan
-
Matt "Warden" Dickens (Coach)
BOSS will need to find a new fifth ahead of their next outings in CCT NA Series #2 and ESL Challenger League Season 48. The team are currently using Nicholas "hate" Young in CCT, however he confirmed to Dust2.us that he is a stand-in.
