What to expect from Complexity v. Eternal Fire
Hold onto your hats folks, Complexity could be making it to IEM Cologne 2024 without dropping a map. The odds aren't exactly in their favor against Eternal Fire, as bookmakers are currently favoring the Turkish side. It will be tough for a team that is slowly getting back to their to top form after the summer break. Their test today will be an indicator to determine if this squad is ready to compete amongst the best once more.
Better to be consistent
Sometimes the wins aren't pretty, but they are needed. Beating Alternate aTTaX yesterday was an important confidence booster, but the way in which the lineup still had some mental mistakes is unfortunate. Better teams will punish them and if Complexity truly wants to make it to the Group Stage and further, they will need to ensure that their fundamentals are sound.
-
XANTARES will punish Complexity every time they give him an opening
-
Complexity have to rely on teamplay, not individual performances, to win rounds
-
JT fragged out yesterday, can he do it again?
Eternally one of the best
Eternal Fire is just simply not one to be messed with. Who can forget Buğra "Calyx" Arkın terrorizing North American FPL when we was playing on Envy? Everyone knows how dominant İsmailсan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş is and how he is to be feared. The squad themselves had to figure out the perfect combination of players, but they finally look like the real deal and are aiming for even greater heights at this IEM.
-
XANTARES is the standout performer so far at IEM
-
Wicadia is EF's young threat
-
MAJ3R's experience as an IGL cannot be matched
Previous Matchups
Complexity played EF at YaLLa Compass 2024 and pulled out an overtime win on Anubis. The Americans already have their number, but the Turks could be looking for revenge.

The veto here will be interesting as EF have a slight advantage in their map pool.
-
