Aether pick up ex-Eros as first ESEA Advanced squad
On June 12th, Aether announced the signing of ex-Eros, an ESEA Advanced squad that is set to compete in ESEA Advanced Season 50. Aether is a recently founded esports organization based in Minneapolis, Minnesota that recently dipped its toes in Counter-Strike 2 with the signing of ESEA Intermediate squad.
Aether’s new roster was formerly part of Eros after being signed on April 2nd before the organization seemingly ceased operations in Mid-April. During ESEA Advanced Season 49, ex-Eros narrowly missed out on playoffs after finishing the season with a 7-7 record.
With the player break starting soon, the team have updated their roster, replacing Evan "Evan" Cawthorn with Leo "Laboom" Rigamonti, an experienced player who previously played for Louisville Red Wolves, Orion, and Zomblers. Additionally, the team have added Lucas "icee" Baccay as coach, with icee returning to coaching from a brief hiatus to focus on casting.
