COMPLEXITY DOMINATE IN JÖNKÖPING VICTORY
Long suffering North American fans can rest just a little bit easier tonight as Complexity finishes the season with their first LAN victory of the year. Since the creation of the North American roster the squad have consistently challenged for titles but ultimately fallen short. Today, well, today is a different story. Complexity can head into the break holding their heads high as they come out as champions of Jönköping.
Complexity began the series on their pick of Vertigo. The team struggled on the map when playing MIBR and would struggle once more against Falcons to start things off. The Americans went down 1-7 before finally getting into their own. Slowly but surely, and thanks to a healthy CT-side, Complexity would turn the tide and come out with an incredible 13-10 victory.
It was then Falcons’ turn to play on their pick. Nuke was shaping up to go the way of the Danes, but Complexity ensured they would be the ones to take the advantage to the second half as the secured a 7-5 lead going into their T-side. At 11-7 Complexity had a real chance to end the game right there, but a flubbed 3v5 cut that endeavor short. Nonetheless, EliGE was not going to lose that easily and pulled out an ace at 11-9 to go just one round away from securing the title. Complexity did not let it slip away and won Nuke 13-9 and the series 2-0, winning ESL Challenger Jönköping.
