Chrome extension restores FACEIT demos to Leetify in one click

The developers of csnades.gg have released a Google Chrome extension to help simplify the process of uploading FACEIT demos to Leetify. The app was created to remedy a breakdown in relations between Leetify and FACEIT after the latter company greatly increased API access following the release of Counter-Strike 2.

This change resulted in Leetify having to discontinue the automatic uploading of FACEIT demos, leaving a Leetify Pro subscription as the only way to add FACEIT demos to the stats website.

This new Chrome extension aims to simplify the process by adding a button to FACEIT Match Pages when viewed through a Google Chrome webpage that will automatically upload the demo to Leetify. Importantly this option is free and does not require a Leetify Pro subscription.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this extension as FACEIT currently have a threshold for how many free API calls a service can make per month. Should csnades' extension go over that threshold the service website be required to pay FACEIT for further access to the website's demos.
