Liquid fall out of HLTV Top 30
Off the back of missing the first Counter-Strike 2 Major, Liquid have exited HLTV's top 30 for the first time per HLTV's March 25th ranking update. With this, the team are now ranked 37th in the world amidst the team's overall struggle to bring the international superteam led by Casper "cadiaN" Møller online.
While the exit from the top 30 isn't a great look for the new Liquid project, it is important to keep in mind falling below the top 30 is almost always a short-lived inconvenience due to the way HLTV points scale at the lower end. This is especially true for top-tier organizations like Liquid who frequently attend high-profile events with which attendance alone can offer more than enough points to uplift a squad back into the top 30.
Considering Liquid will be headed to IEM Chengdu on April 8th and then ESL Pro League Season 19 in early May, they should be back in the top 30 soon enough.
