What to expect from Imperial v. FaZe
Imperial are yet to find a second win in the Elimination Stage after opening it with a victory over Virtus.pro. Since then, the squad led by Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo were tasked with facing Spirit and Vitality, two of the toughest teams in the whole tournament. Today, in their first do-or-die BO3 series, Imperial find their biggest challenge so far, FaZe in a BO3.
Stayin' Alive
Imperial have still showed some good signs even despite the recent losses but one thing that may be worth remembering is that the players have been playing nonstop CS since March 17th and some exhaustion might start to show. In such a competitive environment, sometimes it comes down to who wants it more and, given the circumstances, it might be FaZe taking the win based on that.

Saving FaCe
It's not been an amusing ride for Finn "karrigan" Andersen in his home country. FaZe's only win came against FURIA, falling to Heroic and being demolished by Eternal Fire. This is the moment to turn things around for the European squad, but are they too much into their heads now? A 1-3 exit from the Major after the GameSquare acquisition would not be the best start to the new ownership.

Likely Vetoes
-
FaZe ban Vertigo
-
Imperial ban Ancient
-
FaZe pick Nuke
-
Imperial pick Overpass
-
Inferno is the decider
This is an interesting veto because Imperial's worst maps are Vertigo, FaZe's usual first ban, and Ancient, FaZe's second best map, which is also Imperial's usual first ban. This gives a lot of leeway to the Brazilians, who are good on Nuke, FaZe's usual first pick, and have showed very good signs on Overpass, where FaZe just lost 1-13 yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised if FaZe decide to pick Inferno and Imperial would go back to Mirage and either Nuke or Overpass would be left as the decider.
