Mythic add JoJo and daf as Keiti gravitates towards VALORANT
Dust2.us has that confirmed with Mythic that Josiah "JoJo" Jimenez and Felix-Antoine "daf" D'Avignon have joined their ranks. Additionally, while Dust2.us has not received official comment on Kaitlin "keiti" Boop's status, sources close to the team say she will not be part of the lineup this season.
Mythic were reduced to four in early December after long-time member Adam "Polen" Polen stepped down from the team. Since then, Mythic have been using a number of stand-ins including Austin "Cooper" Abadir, Jonathan "Jonji" Carey, and Donovan "zNf" Froid.
While Keiti has not made her plans known for 2021, she has been dabbling in VALORANT as of late and recently stood-in for Cloud9 White, with the team garnering attention for besting Renegades in a qualifier last week.
JoJo is the most experienced of the new duo, having won ESEA Advanced Season 34 with Third Impact and playing MDL/Premier with Third Impact and Incognito. Since being cut from Incognito in October, JoJo has been on the lookout for a new team while focusing on his stream. JoJo told Dust2.us that while he is normally an AWPer, he will be rifling on Mythic.
daf joins Mythic with scant teamplay experience, having never made playoffs in a division above Main before being tapped to join the stream team. He was invited to FPL in mid-October and has been plying his trade in the division, on top of attending local LANs prior to COVID-19.
Mythic's lineup will be:
- Erik "fl0m" Flom
- David "DAVEY" Stafford
- Eric "adreN" Hoag
- Josiah "JoJo" Jimenez
- Felix-Antoine "daf" D'Avignon
Mythic's new lineup is set to debut sometime next week with the start of ESEA Premier Season 36.
