Legacy choke 10-4 lead to fall to 1-1 bracket
There are simply no words. Legacy, a team that almost everyone predicted would go 0-3, was very close to being 2-0 in the Major and looking like the best Brazilian team so far in Copenhagen. Unfortunately, Cloud9 foiled Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato's T-side plans to send Legacy to the 1-1 bracket while the Russian squad is looking to advance with a 3-0 record.
Overpass was an interesting pick for Cloud9 who ultimately decided on this map instead of Ancient. It appeared to not go their way as the Brazilians proved they were more than capable on their CT-side. Legacy would win the pistol and took that all the way to run out a quick 3-2 lead. But that wasn't it for the Brazilians as they continued to absolutely dominate the Russians and found themselves with a 9-3 advantage after an incredible defensive half.
Starting off the second half, Legacy's attempt at taking the B-site on the pistol round didn't go too well, but the force buy rush B call left Cloud 9 stunned and left Legacy with a 10-4 lead. That would be the very last round won by the Brazilians, as Cloud9 rallied back with a huge nine round win streak to win the match 13-10.
Legacy will find out their 1-1 opponent and will fight to go up 2-1 and have two shots at qualifying for the next stage.
