Swedish organization High Coast tied to ex-New England Whalers
According to a report from Rush B Media, the ex-New England Whalers roster have signed with Swedish esports organization High Coast. The organization already has a team playing in ESEA Main in Europe, who will be maintained as an academy roster according to the report.
The roster's accolades include a runner-up finish in ESEA MDL Season 35, a 7-8th finish at IEM Beijing-Haidian 2020 with Brendan "Bwills" Williams, and a 7-8th finish at DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 featuring Justin "FaNg" Coakley.
Recently the ex-New England Whalers roster had been playing with Bwills following Brandon "bew" Roberts' departure for Yeah. However, Bwills played with Triumph in DreamHack Masters Winter 2020, prompting FaNg's cameo for ex-Whalers as a substitute and leaving some unanswered questions as to who will round out the roster for the newly signed MDL side.
High Coast is now:
- Jonathan "djay" Dallal
- Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue
- Ramal "Rampage" Silva
- Ben "ben1337" Smith
- Joseph "Muenster" Lima (Coach)
High Coast have until ESEA MDL Season 36 begins on January 18th to secure the services of a fifth player.
