NA opponents revealed for BLAST Premier Showdown

The BLAST Premier Spring Showdown schedule was released this morning, and the opponents for Complexity, Liquid, and Elevate were also publicized.

Liquid and Complexity will see their Showdown campaign start on March 7th, just a few short days after the PGL Copenhagen Major Americas RMR, and they will play SAW and OG, respectively. SAW earned their way into the event as they won RTP Arena Cup 2024 over the likes of KOI and Rhyno.

As for Elevate, they will have the ignominious pleasure of facing IEM Katowice 2024 winners, Spirit. on March 8th. Without Elevate's own Russian prodigy in Deni "dea" Ediev, the squad will face some difficulty against the steamroller that is Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.

This edition of the BLAST Premier Showdown is difficult from prior years as both the American and European online events have been merged into one single event with only spot available for a team to make it to the Spring Final.

Liquid, Complexity, and Elevate will have a rough travel week as they are headed to Monterrey, Mexico for the Americas RMR this Friday and then need to leave for Europe almost immediately in order to play in the Showdown event next week.

Matches for the event begins on March 6th and end on March 10th.
