Daystar complete rebuild with Beastman, zebra, and arcade
American esports organization Daystar have unveiled their roster for ESEA Advanced Season 53, seeing the team introduce three new members, Brett "Beastman" Eastman, Jake "zebra" Davis, and John "arcade" Rogel (aka hunger), over the course of March, with hunger being the final addition announced on March 13th. The three incoming pieces mark the conclusion of a rebuild that began on February 18th following the conclusion of Daystar's run in ESEA Advanced Season 52.
The team's run in ESEA-A S52 saw the squad narrowly miss out on playoffs contention by one win, with the squad finishing the season with a 7-7 record. After missing playoffs, Daystar parted ways with Dylan "DJF" Ferreira, Lane "RiFT" Hardesty, and Kyle "K2" Jacowleff ahead of the previously mentioned rebuild.
The first addition to the team, Beastman, joined on March 5th after briefly playing last season as a stand-in for Daystar after he and his former straykids teammates gifted their spot to Dalton "doltn" Ehlers and co. after disbanding. His former notable teams include the likes of Hound, Touch Point, and UWU.
Beastman is joined on the team by fellow former straykids players zebra, who counts Villainous, Omega, and UGK as former notable teams outside of his more recent collaborations with Beastman.
The final piece of the lineup is hunger, who has been out of action for a number of months outside of spending two weeks with regain at the start of the year. They are the most experienced member of the lineup, having played ESL Challenger League on multiple occasions with Carpe Diem and Unjustified.
