Cyrix steps down from Vagrants for health reasons
Yesterday Vagrants AWPer McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison announced that he had stepped down from the team and will be taking a break from competition for health reasons, seeing the player depart the Limitless/Vagrants core after eight months with the team.
Cyrix's unfortunate departure from the Vagrants lineup comes at an inopportune time as the orgless squad have recently seen an uptick in their results, taking maps off of Marsborne, Akimbo, and Getting Info in the PGL Bucharest qualifiers and ESL Challenger League Season 49, with the departure of their AWPer likely negating some of the team's recent gains.
Additionally, the squad sit in the middle of the standings for ECL S49 with a 7-9 record, desperately needing to stay ahead of Legacy and Aetheris to maintain a spot in playoffs.
Head coach Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell told Dust2.us that the team are currently in the process of testing out replacements for Cyrix and aim to make a decision in the coming days.
With Cyrix stepping down, Vagrants are now:
-
Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich
-
Justin "Sandman" Saulle
-
Mason "mason" Watkins
-
Brett "brett" Rhein
-
Brennan "Aureo" O’Connell (Coach)
Vagrants will need to find a new fifth ahead of the team's next match in ESL Challenger League Season 49 on March 18th against SUPER EVIL GANG.
