PGL Astana 2025 NA Closed Qualifier invites revealed

PGL have revealed the invites to the PGL Astana 2025 NA Closed Qualifier, with 21 teams accepting VRS invites to the 32-team qualifier. The event sees a similar slate of teams as those that attended the Bucharest Closed Qualifier, however with Astana using the March VRS update as opposed to February there are some key differences.

The most notable change from Bucharest is that Complexity have seemingly declined an invite to the qualifier, notably leaving the team without any LAN events to play between PGL Bucharest and the BLAST.tv Austin Major. On the other side of the equation, M80 and NRG are set to play for a spot in Astana following their return to North America following the conclusion of ESL Pro League Season 21.

The following teams have received invites to the PGL Astana NA Closed Qualifier:

With 21 teams accepting invites, 11 spots remain up for grabs for teams via the Open Qualifiers. The first of the four open qualifiers are set to start tonight while the Closed Qualifier will be on March 27th.

Here are the essential dates for the PGL Astana 2025 qualifiers:
