Anubis is historically and currently the most T-sided map in CS2
Anubis is by far and away the most T-sided map in Counter-Strike 2, according to both current and historical data.
Recently, ESEA posted their regular season map stats for Season 52, which shows that Anubis (which also has the highest round total) had the highest T-side win rate at 56.97%. The next highest is Dust2, with a much more balanced T-side win rate of 51.83%.
But this T-side dominance isn't exclusive to just the most recent EMEA season. According to HLTV, Anubis has the highest T-side win rate in pro play over the past 12 months at 55.5%. In fact, Anubis has the highest T-side win rate of all-time at 55.3%.
Not only is the T-side win rate for Anubis considerably higher than any other map's, it's higher than the CT-side win rate for any of the more CT-sided maps like Nuke, Train, or Mirage.
So what's the reasoning behind this lopsided rate? Why is Anubis so T-sided? For one, it's relatively easy to get to the A main or B main entrances on the T-side, and only extreme aggression from the CT's can stop that. It's also easy to set up smokes and molotovs for either site, at least compared to other maps, and harder for the CTs to retake given all the angles to clear.
Given the popularity of Anubis, it's clear that pros do enjoy having a T-sided map in the pool.
