What to expect from Complexity v. Falcons
It hasn't been the easiest route for North American teams at IEM Katowice. M80 struggled as they had to use their coach as an emergency player and Complexity are trying to make sure that everyone knows their performance BLAST Premier Spring Groups was just a hiccup before they attempt to qualify for the 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major. After getting donk'd yesterday, Ricky "floppy" Kemery and his teammates must battle against Falcons who continue to search for their own identity and synergy after the roster core left ENCE.
Complexity: Getting back on track
Getting donk'd sucks. Losing your mental against a 17-year-old zoomer who can do things better than you have your entire career is incredibly frustrating. Complexity now have another one of their toughest tests as they have to face Falcons and keep their Spodek dreams alive.

Falcons: Surviving scares
Falcons are not yet one of the best teams in the world, despite taking over the core from ENCE. So far, the team's only wins this year are in best-of-threes against OG and Rebels, the latter of which they almost lost just yesterday. The team still seems to be figuring out how to work together which gives Complexity the perfect opportunity to build their confidence taking down a team with some superstar names.

Previous Matchups
No matchups between Complexity and Falcons, but Complexity does have an exceptional record against the core of the roster from their time on ENCE. Complexity lead the all time series with a 2-1 record and have no lost to European team in a BO3. Back in CS:GO Complexity beat ENCE at ESL Pro League Season 16 and at the IEM Katowice 2023 Play-in. Their only loss was in a best-of-one at IEM Dallas last year.
Likely Vetoes
Vetoes will be very interesting as Falcons have avoided Mirage and Inferno, while losing twice on Overpass, one of Complexity's best maps. With Complexity being the higher seed, they will choose to pick second so they can pick the final map.

Decider is Vertigo
With both Complexity and Falcons avoiding Mirage, it makes some sense that Complexity won't feel compelled to ban the map as their first pick. Instead, the Americans could opt to ban one of Falcons' better maps and bring the series to something that they are more comfortable on. Falcons and Complexity are both competent on Nuke, so expect that to feature, however overall, Complexity have the map advantage.
The Complexity match starts later today at 01:30PM.
