Tsunami Sirens leave org to explore options

The squad will play as Lotus while searching for a new home.

The Tsunami/Detonate merger that was announced just a few days ago has changed the course of the Sirens' path to renewing their contracts. The team, not tied to the new organization, is now exploring their potential options in the North American scene.

Sirens, who now go by Lotus, have been uncontracted since December 10th but were still being paid by the former Tsunami General-Manager, Victor "Ink", who has also left the organization. The team was looking to re-sign with Tsunami before the merger with Detonate happened, but the situation changed and the team feels that Detonate would not be the best fit for the team.

The newly-formed Lotus squad are now looking to "see if there are any organizations willing to take the next step," with a team that is guaranteed a spot in ESL Impact Season 5. Currently, the team has little over a month to find a new home, having now completed their roster with the addition of former EG Gold player Kiki "PiggyKiki" Long.

According to Ink, Lotus is already in talks with an ECL-level organization after negotiations with Detonate failed, and the team is also looking to add a new head coach in Austin "ducky" Dardar, who is currently trialing with the team while also playing in ESEA Advanced with Supernova.

Lotus are now:

  • United States Lydia "Fawx" Dalton

  • United States Mira "mira" Luna

  • Daria "daria" Anokhina

  • United States Robin "rbn" Bondari

  • Kiki "PiggyKiki" Long

  • United States Austin "ducky" Dardar (Trial Coach)

Lotus are currently 5-1 in ESEA Intermediate and will face Moniseum on February 7th at 09:00PM.
