Unjustified lose arcade to retirement

Taking a step back.

Unjustified started their Counter-Strike 2 off with a surprising rise, beating everyone's expectations as they went from the bottom of the barrel in the previous season of ESL Challenger League, to battling Nouns in the lower-bracket semifinals of playoffs. The rise up has been incredible and it's no doubt in part thanks to John "arcade" Rogel's ability.

However, all good things must come to an end as arcade has announced that following the team's elimination from the playoffs he would stop competing competitively. The 22-year-old has competed on teams like Detonate, Villainous Black, and Unjustified. While his career has only lasted a few years, the player has been always one to watch in North America.

arcade was the final piece to Unjustified's puzzle as he joined the roster following Dylan "DJF" Ferreira's decision to step down after the first match in league play. Now, he is also the first leave a squad that defied expectations.

Unjustified have finished an incredible season which saw them finish second at Fragicago and finished in 3rd place in the regular season of ESL Challenger League Season 46 with a 10-4 record, featuring victories over Evil Geniuses, Party Astronauts, and Badass.

Unjustified is now:

  • United States McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison

  • United States Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich

  • United States Mason "Lake" Sanderson

  • United States Kyle "Wolffe" Greenfield
