Liquid skullz soon?

paiN part with player destined for Liquid

skullz is seemingly set to make the jump to TL in short order.

paiN have announced the departure of Felipe "skullz" Medeiros from their lineup today, seemingly setting the stage for a move to Liquid, as first reported by Dust2 Brasil. The move comes amidst what seems to be a general rebuild for paiN, as the Brazilian organization have also benched Cássio "cass1n" Santos, a player they only recently promoted from their academy team in August.

skullz's departure from paiN sees the player leave the organization after a year with the organization where he defined his career. During his time under the leadership of Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt, paiN notably peaked at thirteenth in the world and helped paiN qualify to the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023.

Recently, with a new core paiN have struggled to repeat the success of their former iterations after experimenting with a young lineup of primarily Brazilian academy starlets. The team are currently 73rd in the world despite recently finding a run of form in domestic Brazilian competition.

With the addition of skullz on Liquid seemingly set in stone, he will join his first international roster under the leadership of Casper "cadiaN" Møller and Wilton "zews" Prado.

paiN are now:

  • Brazil Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt

  • Brazil Lucas "lux" Meneghini

  • Brazil Kaue "kauez" Kaschuk

  • Brazil Henrique "rikz" Waku (Coach)

  • Brazil Cássio "cass1n" Santos (Inactive)
