What to expect from Party Astronauts v. Liquid

Many would not have guessed that this would be one of the semifinals of the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Americas, as Party Astronauts completely dismantled Imperial 2-0, who have much more international experience. That does not seem to matter in this tournament as Liquid struggled against Forsaken, barely walking away with the 2-1 win.

For PA this is a huge opportunity to beat the disorganized Liquid and for Liquid this is a great chance to demolish an organization-less team and show that the struggles against Forsaken were just a slow start.

Party in the USA

Party Astronauts shocked the Brazilians and its scene with an amazing 2-0 win over Imperial. Yes, Imperial had played with a stand-in, but this is a roster with loads of experience both in international LANs and in North American online events, and PA also played with a stand-in. Now, Liquid is levels above Imperial, but this is a great chance for PA to upset Liquid and get revenge for the NA scene.

Liquid melting away

It's been a tumultuous second semester of the year for the organization. Choosing to part ways with NA and move to Europe, just to fall flat and now come back to NA with the coach as a stand-in for God knows how long, and God knows what's next. This looks like a team without clear goals, but, for sure, they will want to win today.

Previous Matchups

The last and only time these two teams faced each other was during ESL Pro League Season 15 in Group C, in March 2022. Both rosters look very different as each team only has two returning players, PwnAlone and ben1337 for PA, and Josh "oSee" Ohm and Keith "NAF" Markovic for Liquid.
