CS2 leak reveals Premier mode with additions
Twitter users and known dataminers, Aquarius and ThourCS, revealed earlier in a CS2 leak that the game would be receiving a notable change to the matchmaking experience, with the addition of the known-to-CS:GO Premier mode, which gives the players a pick and ban system to choose the map and removes console damage reports. However, its addition to CS2 is coming with a drastic overhaul, according to the leak.
The new leaderboard is revealed in the tweets, which can be sorted by seasons and regions. Accompanying the leaderboard is an expansion of additional statistics for the user to enjoy, including a detailed statistics breakdown of your teammates, map win rates, and even a CS rating.
When speaking with Aquarius, he said that the page in CS2 was found as they realized it was hidden, but could be manipulated to being shown. Aquarius is a known data miner and has been following various leaks regarding CS2 since the announcement.
Counter-Strike 2 was announced by Valve on March 22 with a beta launching later that night. The full version of the game is expected to be released later this summer.
