What to expect from Complexity v. Cloud9
Yesterday Complexity showed up in full strength against Evil Geniuses, just like they needed to against the struggling team. Everyone was prepared and ready out of the gates, but today the task is harder. Complexity will be taking on Cloud9 after the Russian-Kazakh lineup was knocked into the lower bracket by Astralis.
Can Complexity fight for a chance at third place in the group or will their Dallas run end here?
Complexity turning up the heat
What could have been a disaster, losing to EG on home turf, turned into a comfortable win thanks to every player turning up to the game in form. But just that won't be enough to beat Cloud9, there needs to be a stroke of genius today in order to overcome C9, like Ricky "floppy" Kemery and Justin "FaNg" Coakley on Overpass.

Sonic has been excelling as a stand-in

Check sh1ro's bag, he's got the whole team there
This team has been very quiet, in some parts thanks to them not qualifying for the last Major. Despite that, Cloud9 won Brazy Party at the start of the month by beating teams like Astralis, OG, paiN, and 9INE. This is a team that, on a good day, can beat anyone. The thing is, not all days are good days.
-
It's the sh1ro show
-
nafany has been having a rough couple of months
-
buster has disappointed since joining C9
Previous Matchups
These two squads have faced each other twice in the past. The first time they met, the Cloud9 team was still with Gambit, and they beat Complexity 2-1 for Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals. After that, they met again in June of 2022, for Roobet Cup, and Cloud9 defeated Complexity 2-0. In both series, Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov top-fragged.
