Opening matchups revealed for Washington

BLAST have revealed the opening matchups for BLAST Spring Final, which take place in Washington D.C. this year. With both Liquid and Complexity missing out on the event from Spring Groups and Showdown, it was only unfortunate circumstances for NAVI which allowed Complexity to attend the event.

Now Complexity must carry the torch for North America, as Imperial must do the same for South America. Both of their opening matchups are quite dire, with Complexity taking on the second-highest ranked team in the world, Heroic, while Imperial must face the best team in the world, the Major-winning Vitality lineup.

The eight teams will be distributed among two four-team groups, with the winners directly qualifying to semifinals, and second and third places duking it out in quarter-finals. The games begin on Wednesday June 7th with the tournament culminating in the finals on Sunday June 11th.
