CS:GO breaks all-time peak player record

CS:GO has broken the all-time player peak this month with an astronomical number.

According to steamcharts, CS:GO has broken an all time record this year with it's playerbase cracking 1.3 million players for the second time, but this time there are about 11,000 more players than last time.

In the 24-hour peak in the last 30 days, there have been 1,320,219 players on CS:GO that have been in and playing the the game at the same time in the last 24 hours.

The previous record for CS:GO was set in April 2020 when the game reached 1,308,963 players.

Due to COVID-19, it appears that more people have found the game than ever before despite there being a massive popularity in rival VALORANT.
