Complexity only team to take map off Heroic heading into IEM Katowice grand finals
The Danes have just reached the grand final of IEM Katowice 2023 and they have done so in the most dominant fashion as they have taken down almost every opponent in a 2-0 drubbing, except for their first opponent, Complexity.
In the first match of the group stage for Heroic, they pulled away with a first map victory stealing Complexity's pick of Inferno thanks to a crucial clutch by Casper "cadiaN" Møller to propel them to a win.
Complexity were able to steal away Heroic's pick of Vertigo, which remains the only map loss that the grand finalists have at IEM Katowice 2023.
The Americans had a massively successful IEM Katowice campaign, finishing in the top 8 for the first time in the player's careers.
They had impressive victories over Sprout and ENCE as they reached a vital qualification to the group stage, where they unfortunately fell to Heroic, but surprisingly beat out MOUZ and fnatic before finally being eliminated by Major Champions Outsiders.
