EliGE during Gaules stream: "after we get through 3-1, we’ll go to the beach, maybe"
Immediately following Liquid’s 16-6 win over Sprout, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski joined Gaules' stream to be interviewed by Filipe "bt0" Moreno and André "Liminha" Kenzo. The interview was conducted only in Portuguese as EliGE is able to both speak and understand the language. Dust2.us translated the interview for those who didn't catch it and those who don't understand Portuguese.
First game you didn't even see MOUZ, unfortunately, and now on Inferno again, Sprout didn't even see you. What happened between the games?
We talked about the first game and that one it wasn't us there. It wasn't a strong showing from us, so we talked about it. We needed to push more, and get more control over the map. We wanted to start on T-side and that helps us get more confidence.
Me and Liminha always felt comfortable talking to you because you speak and understand Portuguese very well. How has been playing here? Are you feeling good?
It's very cool. The crowd is great, you [the crowd] are incredible and the energy here is insane, very incredible.
Let's talk about what matters. Have you been to the beach, what have you eaten, have you seen Rio?
Until now we visited a steakhouse, it was very good, guys! No beach yet, the weather hasn't been good, it's been raining a lot. We are practicing now and after we go through 3-1 we’ll go to the beach, maybe.
You noticed the crowd has its favorites. When Liquid isn't facing a Brazilian team, the fans embraced you. Did you imagine a crowd like this?
I wanted it to be like this. You are very... Let me think, I am a bit nervous, honestly. I want to thank you very much for the love you are giving me during my career, it's been unbelievable. My career, and all the support you have been giving me, I never thought of something like this. I love you guys.
Tell the guys at home some final words, in English, Portuguese, or however you want.
It was an awesome game for everyone, thank you so much for watching. We definitely wanted to show more than we did in that first game, so I'm super happy that we were able to play well in this game. To everyone here and at home, we really want to get through this stage and win this shit! Let's go!
Liquid face NAVI today at 09:00AM in a 1-1 match.
