Detonate return with new lineup
Detonate have announced their return to CS:GO with the signing of Hog Riders, a roster recently formed out of the ashes of Big Chillin's former lineup that disbanded on April 10th, after multiple players left to pursue individual offers.
Detonate were on the lookout for a new lineup following the demise of their ESL Premier Season 39 squad after Christopher "Swahn" Swahn left to join Bad News Bears on January 11th. ex-DETONATE would eventually go on to become Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz's BHOP squad.
As previously mentioned, this new squad is built around a core of Johnny "JDubs" Wu and Devin "Xzen" Barber built this roster following the demise of Big Chillin. Rounding out the lineup are Landon "landmaz" Lawrence, Sam "Noxio" Goodwin, and Reece "Wilky" Wilkerson, all of whom have recent ECL/Premier experience in the past three seasons.
Before being signed by Detonate, Hog Riders played in the first IEM Dallas open qualifier, finishing in 9th-16th place after falling to Carpe Diem.
Detonate's owner, Levoski Brown, told Dust2.us that the organization will look to support the core of this lineup for a full calendar year while also providing travel support so they can attend a number of upcoming LAN events. The recently announced Fragadelphia 17 circuit means the team will have ample opportunities to prove themselves offline.
