Heroic and Luminosity invited to DreamHack Montreal
DreamHack has announced over social media that Heroic and Luminosity will be the next teams to appear at DreamHack Montreal later in September, joining ENCE, who was invited to the event yesterday.
With Heroic set to appear at DreamHack Masters Stockholm later this month, DreamHack Montreal will be the team's second event with Daniel "mertz" Mertz, who was recently added onto the team on loan from North.
On the Brazillian side, DreamHack Montreal will be the second event for Luminosity's new roster, after the Brazillian team fell to North at DreamHack Valencia last month. Luminosity's invite also sees the return of Lucas "steel" Lopes and the Teles brothers to Montreal.
The three players previously last year's iteration with Immortals. The team became notorious following a late arrival on the last day of the event, giving North a one-map advantage in the grand finals. After an inflammatory tweet from Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe, the player was released from Immortals, with the rest of the team eventually collapsing in the following months.

The all-Invite event, which will play out from September 7th to the 9th, will feature a $100,000 prize pool and a best-of-three grand final. As the event overlaps with the New Challengers Stage, the event will feature teams that were unable to qualify for the Major, including Heroic, Luminosity, and NRG.
