AZIO confirm new roster
Following a report earlier in the week from us here at Dust2.us, AZIO have confirmed the addition of Joshua "Hunter" Madore from FYB, Ian "motm" Hardy from Vireo.pro, and Ryan "Snakes" Amann and Michael "Grim" Wince both formerly of Dignitas.
Hunter, motm, and Snakes are set to play alongside William "shonk" Kittrell and Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle for the first eight matches of MDL Season 29 to maintain the team's league spot, although it is possible that the team will rotate players to allow Grim to play alongside the roster before then.
Additionally, Frankie "NnyQuil" Miranda will step down from the active roster to become the team's analyst, while Teric "Bibby" Ingram has been brought on board to coach the team. This reunites Bibby with three of his former teammates from the ex-Broken Alliance lineup that won ESEA Main in Season 25.
Snakes returns to an active roster after a four-month long stint as a streamer under Dignitas, with whom he parted ways after his contracted ended after knowing he would not have a place on the team's starting lineup. Since then, the 16-year-old was a stand-in for Swole Patrol, and more recently found himself putting up massive numbers at Fragadelphia despite a 13th-16th place finish.
Following this move, AZIO's roster consists of:
- William "shonk" Kittrell (to retain MDL spot)
- Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
- Joshua "Hunter" Madore
- Ian "motm" Hardy
- Ryan "Snakes" Amann
- Michael "Grim" Wince
- Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
AZIO currently await the start of MDL Season 29, which is set to begin on September 3rd. The roster is likely to compete in upcoming qualifiers in the meantime as they look to gain valuable practice heading into the upcoming promotion season.
