MDL Season 28 Week 4 Recap - Dignitas keeps a clean record
Season 28 of ESEA's MDL edges closer to its midpoint with the conclusion of week 4, seeing Born tie up the score with Freedom 35 at the top of the board.
Born's two victories this week saw them dominate XFORCE and MDL Jammers, allowing them to take the top of the standings as Freedom 35 suffered their first loss of the season to Bravado. Born were handed a 16-9 loss right back by none other than Freedom 35, keeping the teams on even ground.
Mythic picked up their second win of the season by taking down Vikings 16-6, but fell in our highlighted match from last week against Dignitas. Really Old People also went down to Dignitas, although they managed to take the former EPL team to a 16-14 scoreline. This leaves Dignitas as the only team to keep a clean record, having lost no matches as of yet.
Swole Patrol and FYB also continued advancing up the board, while Gorilla Gang began their road to redemption with victories over The Entourage and AZIO. XFORCE also dealt AZIO a loss, adding to the team's tally of losses.
This week will see Braxton "swag" Pierce's FYB lineup take on Sam "DaZeD" Marine and co. from subtLe. Other notable matches this week include:
