Freedom 35 and The Pioneers round out Minor Closed Qualifier teams

The last qualifier for the FACEIT Major 2018 Americas Minor has concluded, and ESEA MDL sides Freedom 35 and The Pioneers have emerged victorious.

Freedom 35 had smooth sailing throughout the qualifier, not dropping a map the entire way. Their final match saw them taking down Gorilla Gang, who were fielding Brendan "stellar" McGrath instead of Anthony "Vanity" Malaspina, who was occupied with Father's Day duties.

The Pioneers had a similarly smooth path through the qualifier, until they came up against the newly made whole again F1-racecar-PEEK side. The Pioneers themselves were fielding an extremely different roster than the one they have fielded in MDL thus far. The series ultimately ended up 2-1 in the favor of The Pioneers, resulting in no joy for Ricky "floppy" Kemery and his new teammates.
