Uber replaces vSa in The Onliners for WESG
Canadian player Mitch "Uber" Stapells has joined the Canadian mix The Onliners for the upcoming WESG Finals in China, set to take place between March 13th-18th.
Uber will be replacing Andy "vSa" Xu in the roster. Dust2.us has learned that after being released from his contract with Rise, the player has received offers for other teams, and missing practice and official time is not an option. The change of circumstance is certainly somewhat bittersweet for vSa, as he was born in China.
Uber is currently on Rogue's ESL Pro League roster as a substitute, though he has not played for the squad since aiding them in their successful Relegation bid in January.
As such, The Onliners' current roster is as follows:
- Loic "effys" Sauvageau
- Victor "cardiac" Kwan
- Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani
- Alex "vek" Voynov
- Mitch "Uber" Stapells
The change-up is the most recent in a long line of them for the squad, who initially started this WESG journey as the FRENCH CANADIANS core plus Kaleb "moose" Jayne. The only player remaining from that team that will be headed to China is Loic "effys" Sauvageau.
