moose latest player to skip WESG World Finals
Earlier, Rise Nation's Kaleb "moose" Jayne announced that he would not be attending the WESG World Finals in China.
moose did not elaborate on the reasoning behind the decision, but it could very well be due to the events proximity to the ESEA MDL Season 27 playoffs.
moose joins the company of fellow Canadians Yassine "Subroza" Taofik, Anthony "gMd" Guimond, and Matthew "Wardell" Bowman, all of whom will be skipping the Chinese event due to ESL Pro League obligations.
When contacted by Dust2.us, Andy "vSa" Xu stated that he and Loic "effys" Sauvageau have called upon Victor "cardiac" Kwan (FeelsUnderAgeMan), Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani (Atmosphere) and Alex "vek" Voynov (Grizzlys) to round out their roster for the event.
The prospective Onliners roster for WESG is now:
- Loic "effys" Sauvageau
- Andy "vSa" Xu
- Victor "cardiac" Kwan
- Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani
- Alex "vek" Voynov
Without the participation of moose, effys is slated to be the only remaining player who participated with the squad in the WESG Canada qualifier.
The WESG 2017 World Finals are set to kick off March 12th, and will feature 32 teams from around the world competing for a total prize pool of $1,500,000.
