Subroza and gMd to skip WESG Finals in China
Disheartening news for Canada has come in, as Anthony "gMd" Guimond and Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik have decided to drop out of the WESG Finals to focus on playing with their respective teams in ESL Pro League.
The two players were a part of the FRENCH CANADIANS squad that won the WESG Canada qualifier, and placed third in the North American Regional Finals.
With Subroza and gMd sitting the event out, the FRENCH CANADIANS/Onliners roster for the WESG World Finals is currently as follows:
- Loic "effys" Sauvageau
- Kaleb "moose" Jayne
- Andy "vSa" Xu
As of now, no replacements have been announced, but Dust2.us knows that the mix have reached out to Atmosphere's Alfonso "krZ" Fiorani and Say No More's Dallas "Dallas" Micks about filling the now vacant spots on the roster.
The WESG Finals will begin on March 12th and run until March 18th in Haikou, China with a total of $1,500,000 on the line.
