Cloud9 and FaZe invited to DreamHack Masters Marseille
Major winners Cloud9 and forever runner ups FaZe have been invited to DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018, organizers DreamHack have announced on Twitter. They will join Astralis, G2, mousesports, and SK to fill six of the twelve invite spots up for grabs.
FaZe recently placed 2nd at IEM Katowice 2018, eventually falling in five maps to Fnatic despite strong performances on Cache and Mirage. Cloud9 advanced to the playoffs after defeating Renegades of SK, but fell to FaZe in the round of six.
Cloud9 will next play at the WESG World Finals in Haikou, Hainan, China, while FaZe will travel to Budapest, Hungary for the V4 Future Sports Festival. Both will be looking to pick up wins as the average competition will be lower.
