SK and mousesports invited to DreamHack Masters Marseille
The next two teams to receive invites to DreamHack's next Masters stop in Marseille have been revealed, with newly crowned StarSeries champions mousesports being joined by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's SK.
The Brazilians have yet to win an event in 2018, showing signs of struggles as they dropped out in the semifinals of the ELEAGUE Major in Boston and cs_summit just after, closing out their lackluster results with a quarterfinals exit at StarSeries.
The European side of mousesports on the other hand have shown more and more promise as they continue claiming championships for themselves, winning StarSeries i-League Season 4 and ESG Tour Mykonos and falling just short of a trophy in the grand finals of ECS Season 4 Finals and DreamHack Winter. Their invite slot gives them a chance to continue building a name for themselves, especially as Robin "ropz" Kool continues to hone his skills over time.
With the addition of SK and mousesports, the sixteen-team $250,000 event's current list of invited teams is:
Astralis | G2 |
mousesports | SK |
DreamHack Masters Marseille will kick off on April 18th, with twelve attending teams yet to be determined.
