Rogue remove ryx, add gMd
Rogue have removed recent addition Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki from their active lineup, Dust2.us has learned. Having spent just 15 days on the roster, ryx played in the qualifiers for both StarSeries i-League Season 4 and IEM Katowice, placing top eight and out of the running for LAN berths in both.
Replacing the former Ghost player is Anthony "gMd" Guimond, who just left Ghost Academy yesterday. The 17-year-old has gotten a lot of attention since his days in FRENCH CANADIANS, and this move will see him facing off against the best in the ESL Pro League. Dust2.us knows that gMd previously had tried out for Rogue as a potential package deal with Yassine "Subroza" Taofik.
Rogue's roster is now:
- Daniel "vice" Kim
- Spencer "Hiko" Martin
- Casper "cadiaN" Møller
- Hunter "SicK" Mims
- Anthony "gMd" Guimond
The team are already playing their first games together in the second ECS Season 5 Open Qualifier. Placing top four in this qualifier would grant them a spot in the closed qualifier set to take place in two weeks.
